It’s that time of year again, Summer is ending and Fall is days away. I happen to really love Fall with it’s cozy sweaters with skinny jeans, but before we embark on Fall Fashion I want to quickly relive a Summer favorite.

I traveled across the south of France and into Spain this summer where I spent a week in the Spanish heat. The weather was unbearable hot. Luckily I packed smart, including the cute little number off to the left.  Need-less to say, American Eagle was this summer’s savior with their denim pleated shortie (onsale right now for $29.00) and white spagetti strapped shirt. Wearing white in the unavoidable sun certainly helped me stay cool.

The other thing about traveling to Spain or anywhere for that matter is the walking.  Lots and lots of walking. Luckily I had my Chuck Tailors to keep me company on my many trips to the wi-fi cafe. These were a gift from my mom who specially ordered them with a kick-ass design on the side.  She even included my old New York apartment building.

So here’s my send off to summer, but don’t worry as soon as I reclaim my clothes from storage I’ll kick off my hello to Fall! Stay tuned.
